- Indian citizens from OBC, EBC, or DNT communities studying in Class 9-12, with total annual family income up to ₹2.5 lakh; selection is based on marks in the previous class's final examination.
- Benefits
- ₹75,000 a year for Class 9 students and ₹1,25,000 a year for Class 11 students; students admitted to notified top institutions may also receive full tuition fee and other charges.

- Caste certificate, income certificate, Aadhaar card, previous class mark sheet, bank account details.

- Apply online through the National Scholarship Portal (scholarships.gov.in); there is no application fee.
