What This Calculator Does — and Its Limits
This is a simplified estimate, not your actual payslip. It splits your CTC into Basic salary (using the percentage you provide), calculates your own EPF contribution from that Basic, subtracts any other monthly deductions you enter, and divides the rest across 12 months.
Two real-world complications this calculator does not attempt: many companies’ actual CTC also includes the employer’s PF contribution, gratuity, and other benefits that are never paid out monthly — this tool treats your whole CTC as if it were gross pay, which can overstate your real take-home. It also does not subtract income tax — use this site’s separate Income Tax Calculator for that, then subtract the result from what this tool shows.

Why doesn’t this match my actual payslip exactly?
Every company structures CTC differently — employer PF, gratuity, bonuses, and other benefits are often bundled into CTC but never appear in your monthly in-hand pay. This calculator uses a simplified structure; your actual offer letter or payslip breakup is always the accurate source.
Does this include income tax?
No — income tax depends on your tax regime, deductions, and other income, which this tool doesn’t ask for. Use this site’s Income Tax Calculator separately, then subtract that from the figure shown here.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
