Split PDF

Extract a page range from a PDF into a new file, directly in your browser.

PDF ToolsPDFSplit

Choose a PDF, then enter the page range you want to extract into a new file. Everything runs in your browser — nothing you upload here is sent to our server.

Your PDF is split locally in your browser and is not uploaded to our server.

Max 50 MB. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.

What This Tool Actually Does

This tool extracts the exact page range you specify (for example, pages 2 through 5 of a 20-page file) into a brand-new PDF. It does not split a file into one PDF per page and package them into a ZIP — for most real needs (“I just need this section”), a single extracted range is what people actually want, and this avoids needing to add a separate ZIP-creation library just for that narrower case.

FAQ

Can I extract more than one separate range at once?

Not in this version — one contiguous page range per extraction. Run the tool again on the same PDF for a second range.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. Splitting happens entirely in your browser. Your file is never sent to our server.
