Timezone Converter

Convert a date and time from one timezone to another, directly in your browser.

Utility ToolsDate & TimeTimezone

Choose a date and time, its source timezone, and a target timezone to see the converted time. Everything runs in your browser using its own built-in timezone data — no external service is called.

Converted locally in your browser using its built-in timezone data — nothing is sent to our server.

How This Conversion Works

This tool uses your browser’s native Intl API, which carries the full IANA timezone database (including daylight saving time rules) — the same data source real timezone libraries use, not a hardcoded offset table. One honest edge case: a date/time you enter that falls exactly inside a DST transition (the single hour a clock skips forward, or repeats, when daylight saving starts or ends in the source zone) can resolve up to an hour off, since that hour is genuinely ambiguous or nonexistent on a real clock. This is rare and only affects specific dates/times, but is disclosed here rather than silently ignored.

FAQ

Does this list every timezone in the world?

No — it lists roughly 40 major zones covering every region, not the full ~400-zone IANA list, since a dropdown that long is worse UX than a shorter, clearly-labeled one for the vast majority of real use.

Does it account for daylight saving time automatically?

Yes — the conversion is calculated for the specific date you enter, so DST is applied correctly for that date in both zones, not just today’s current offset.
