- Any Indian citizen aged 18 to 40 years who holds, or opens, a savings bank account or post office savings account.
- Benefits
- A fixed guaranteed monthly pension of ₹1,000, ₹2,000, ₹3,000, ₹4,000, or ₹5,000 (as chosen) starting at age 60, depending on the contribution amount and the age at which the subscriber joins; minimum contribution period is around 20 years.
