How This Works
KML is the XML-based format Google Earth and Google Maps use for saved places and shapes. This tool reads the Point, LineString, and Polygon Placemarks in your KML and draws them directly on a map, the same way our GeoJSON Viewer handles GeoJSON.
FAQ
Where do I get a KML file’s contents?
Open a `.kml` file in any text editor and copy its contents, or export one from Google Earth/Google My Maps.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The KML is parsed and rendered entirely in your browser — never sent to our server.
