Enter a place, a travel time, and a travel mode below to see exactly how far you could get, shaded on a map.
We do not log or store the places you search for.
This tool sends your input directly from your browser to Open-Meteo for the search, and a free public Valhalla routing-engine demo server (open-source, no key needed) for the isochrone.

How This Works
An isochrone is a “reachable area” map — the shaded region shows everywhere you could get to within your chosen time, starting from your place, by your chosen travel mode. This uses Valhalla, a free, open-source routing engine, which calculates real travel times along the actual road/path network rather than a simple straight-line radius.
FAQ
How is this different from the Map Radius Calculator?
Our Map Radius Calculator draws a perfect circle at a fixed straight-line distance. This tool instead follows the real road/path network, so the shaded area is usually irregular — reflecting where roads and paths actually go, not just “distance as the crow flies.”
Does this account for real-time traffic?
No — it’s based on typical travel speeds, not live traffic or conditions.
